Julia Broberg

Finance-trained operator who builds the analytics, the systems, and the governance a global supply chain runs on.

What I do

I build the data systems a global supply chain runs on, and I stay for the decisions they feed. Day to day I work the questions operators bring: why the backlog is growing, which number in the room to trust, what a tariff does to margin this week. I find the pain, bring the people who do the work into the fix, and manage the change so it holds. I built and led a global analytics function across international sites from nothing, automated it to a documented 10:1 savings ratio, and I do not automate waste, I remove it first.

How it comes together

Finance

Valuation, forecasting, and the quantitative methods underneath. I read operations as money.

Operations & Supply Chain

Multi-site planning, MRP, inventory policy, and continuous improvement, in the seat.

Technology & AI

Data pipelines, production apps, and AI kept on a leash, built end to end.

Where it is proven

Manager, Data Analytics & Supply Chain

Jun 2023 - Present

Global life sciences company (NASDAQ-listed) · built and lead the global data analytics & continuous improvement function

  • Walked in as the graduate intern and built the company's global data analytics and continuous improvement function from scratch, owning value-stream metrics across manufacturing and supply chain and leading a team of six across international sites.
  • Ran the same lean turnaround across sites. At one, lead time fell from 17 days to 1, backlog shrank from $17M to $7M, and on-time delivery climbed, inside two months.
  • Built the company's first unified global data source, consolidating ten-plus ERP systems into one standardized, AI-ready reporting framework, and harmonized supplier and spend data into its first strategic sourcing platform.
  • Automated reporting and manual workflows to a documented 10:1 cost-savings-to-salary ratio, by mapping the value stream with the people doing the work and deleting the waste rather than automating it.
  • Designed and deployed automated MRP and replenishment across the company's ten-plus ERP systems, and built the demand and predictive models that held backlog accuracy within a 5% error rate.
  • Led a 24-hour cross-functional tariff response, repositioning tens of millions in inventory across international sites near year-end and still hitting targets.
  • Developed and owned the enterprise metric governance framework: KPI definitions standardized, data-quality standards set, operations made AI-ready.
  • Delivered the analytics behind a two-site distribution center consolidation, a 15% gain in customer satisfaction, completed ahead of schedule.

Equity Research & Key Account Management

Oct 2019 - Aug 2022

Nordic boutique investment bank · junior analyst to key account manager

  • Nearly three years in finance before operations: equity research, valuation, and client coverage. Built the muscle I use every day now, turning analysis into a decision someone will act on, in front of clients.
  • Grew the commissioned equity research service 170%, driving 4x revenue growth and lifting its ranked overall performance from 5th to 2nd.
  • Built investor portfolio reports, valuations, forecasts, and market insights for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Mentored 10+ junior team members, with sales training formally requested by the Head of Corporate Access.
  • Recognized as top salesperson for revenue and client acquisition.

Systems built (on my own time)

  • Vendor Brain - supplier master-data reconciliation, in production and daily use inside a NASDAQ-listed manufacturer. Normalize, block, score, cluster, resolve, with borderline cases routed to a human.
  • Multi-site planning demo - live DDMRP planning on a stand-in manufacturer, every figure computed in the browser and every method cited.
  • Personal operating system & memory layer - scheduled agents that run the routine and gate anything consequential, with governed memory on top.
  • AI executive team specification - a written operating standard for governing an agent fleet, published before building.
